Yoga for the Nervous System: Fostering Positive Mental Health Habits With Breathwork & Yoga with Tara Porter


In this workshop, you will learn to use the nervous system as a vehicle for change by learning to identify signals & symptoms of stress and reactive tendencies and how you can recalibrate accordingly.

This workshop is designed to offer you tools to experience relief both on and, most importantly, off the mat. Learn how yoga, breathing, and meditation amongst other yogic practices and daily life choices can unlock your own natural healing, and leave space for feelings of peace, contentment and radical acceptance.

This workshop is useful for all levels of yoga experience with no previous yoga experience necessary.

This mini workshop will include:

~ Some lecture with a brief introduction of the gunas.
~ Gentle yin/yang postural work
~ Breathwork and meditation
~ Some journaling/group work
~ Come to integrate a sustainable practice, incorporating mindfulness into our daily life.
