Summer is almost here, and that means that our favourite festival is approaching. City of Om 2019 is taking place at Ottawa’s Lansdowne Park on Saturday June 1st. If you’ve never been to a City of Om, you’re in for a big treat. It’s a festival that’s all about connecting c“OM“munities and celebrating the mindful lifestyle that we all love. Get motivated, meet like-minded people, and have fun!
City of Om is now in its 4th year, attracting around 3000 participants each year. It started as a yoga festival but has evolved to become a hub for so many forms of wellness and fitness. There’s so much to do at City of Om, from yoga classes and workshops all day long, vegetarian cooking workshops, family friendly activities for the kids, health and wellbeing stalls, and so many incredibly delicious food and drink vendors.
Many of Ottawa’s yoga studios will be represented at City of Om, including Pure. Join us in the Blacklight tent for the unforgettable experience of doing yoga in the dark. Jen Dalgleish will be leading an uplifting beats class set to the music of great legends at 10.30am, Tiffani Harris leads a Freedom Soul Jam class at 1pm, and Kate Laird ends the day with Hip Hop Through the Ages at 3.30pm. Find Amber in the PranaShanti space in the Horticultural building teaching her ‘Movement Ritual’ at 10.30am, and so many of our friends and teachers leading classes and workshops throughout the day (see below for full schedule).
