Winter. The most likely time of the year to get sick. I love a fresh healthy green smoothie and I add a few key ingredients to help boost my immune system during cold season.
Green juice as a base, I love “Lush” cold pressed for Pure Kitchen but any green juice without sugar will do.
½ a banana
Handful of cilantro
Handful of fresh spinach
A few slices of fresh ginger
Teaspoon of tumeric
½ an avocado
Teaspoon of spirulina
¼ cup of frozen mango
Option to add collagen if you are into it!
Cup 1/2 nut mylk (I use almond)
Throw in the blender or vitamix, drink up and enjoy!
